Newark has one of the highest homicide rates in the country – Murders almost exclusively committed by (gasp) people who are here legally. But US Rep. Tom Tancredo doesn't trouble himself with silly statistics when rushing to use the tragic deaths of teenagers to boost his presidential campaign (which is almost entirely based on bashing immigrants) as coincidentally, the most recent atrocity there was allegedly committed by an illegal immigrant.
