I was originally planning to draw a “boring” cartoon about the wishy-washy Democrats allowing Bush/Cheney’s latest stab at Constitutional erosion to become law…Then I couldn’t help but notice the apparent lack of outrage over the whole issue. Maybe it’s because it’s August and people’s consciences go on vacation too, but I suspect that in a culture that now thrives on meritless attention seeking, a government official listening in on your phone conversation might even be perceived as flattering…
