A brillant cartoon! Matt has captured the Senate hearings w/General Petraeus & the President's crazed world view: just bend the rules of time in your favor when reality doesn't meet your expectations.
This is another masterpiece of encapsulating the big picture into one cartoon, The way Bush is standing there, all smug and sure of himself, like he has won again is classic. It goes right over the president's head that, in the long run, he has lost again. And in doing so drags this nation down with him.
How incredibly inane!
