Time warp 2

Welcome back…Sorry about the couple days of dead air on the blog. Cherry-picked Intelligence sources tell me that we were hacked into. That’s okay. I’ve heard that nowadays, hacking is the greatest form of flattery.

Here’s a quick catch up of the week’s cartoons.

It was a "peace" prize, not a science prize.
You people are going to feel silly in a few years when the whole global warming hysteria is exposed as the hoax that it is. Silly, if you were at all capable of self reflection or embarrassment, that is.

And when mass migration begins as people move from areas that are turning to desert or disappearing under water and wars break out for control of the remaining resources, maybe you'll see why it is indeed a peace prize. But I doubt it.

The comment from Joe just underscores that your cartoon is true. How amusing.

By the way the Fred Thompson cartoon is HILARIOUS! You can hear the "plink" of the little plastic toy landing.

OK scientific geniuses, explain why "global warming" has been detected on other planets.
Try doing a little research. Read what actual climate scientists have to say, rather than a power hungry blowhard like Gore.
Google Robert Giegengack. He is a U of Penn professor of geology with 50 years of research, he is Democrat who supported Gore, and he says Gore is full of baloney on this issue. He has studied how climate has affected the earth over hundreds of thousands of years. In short, this is a man who knows what he is talking about when it comes to climate change. But why should you Chicken Littles be concerned with facts.
All this energy would be much better spent trying to bring clean water and sanitary conditions to the 3d world. Mark my words, this is the biggest hoax in the last 100 years, and you are going to look pretty foolish.

Matt , why don't you do a cartoon of Al Gore flying away on his manpowered flying machine?

Self reflection or embarrassment? You mean like that displayed by Bushies over their inevitably quagmiric war policy? Where was the right's "healthy skepticism" then?
At least if the global warming crew get it wrong – Which is according to many scientists (other than Robert Giegengack), unlikely – we'll all be driving vehicles that consume less energy, and we will have moved closer to the democratization of the energy supply, with the notion of a regular working stiff being able to power his/her home while being completely off the grid becoming a reality. The free market is already pulling us in that direction due to the continued rise in oil prices. What's embarrasing about that? The only argument against reducing energy consumption is from those that profit in some way from oil (relatively understandable), those that profit from the wars that we will be getting into periodically over oil supplies (not understandable), and those that simply can't stand Al Gore.

Putting politics aside, I'm just not seeing the downside to trying combat global warming. BTW I totally agree that we should exert energy bringing clean water supplies to the 3rd world, as those are the areas that will be most affected by climate change – whether it's manmade or otherwise.
