This was one of those ideas where I couldn't figure out a way to say what I needed to say without a whole ton of drawing. Even though I work pretty quickly (in case you couldn't tell…) that mob of Nanos took a while to draw. When I was done, I wondered if anyone would even recognize the heaving pile on the left of the drawing as a bunch of cars at all.

I was at Home Depot the other day, and while aimlessly wandering around looking for some light bulbs, I noticed that for every conceivable menial task there is now a "made in China" gas powered, human-effort alleviating device available for purchase. A gas powered floor mop is almost certainly sitting on some clever manufacturing designer's drawing board as we speak. And we blame the tight refining/supply side for $100 a barrel oil…
