really Matt, if you are going to talk about patience why didn't you do a group characterization of all the presidents back to Kennedy? You have no credibility in this matter, newcomer.
Perhaps if Europe hadn't disregarded the embargo, it would have worked faster. Way to support the team…..Oh, yeah. The support seems to travel one way, most of the time.
Maybe I missed something here, but I took the cartoon to be a comment on our lame duck President's attempt to claim success for something, anything…which given his disatrous performance domestically and internationally would have to emanate from events that he had absolutely no contact with or effect on.
Top gunner: I have been unable to find a single news article where President Bush claimed any credit for anything to do with Fidels retirement and the embargo. Same goes to you MR. Wonderful Davies. You are all Bullshirt!
My first thought was that Bush likely thinks exactly what the cartoon suggests he does. Our Commander in Chief's uncanny ability to consistently "misunderestimate" reality astonishes me.
