Maybe I’m missing something but when I got my County tax bill yesterday it was actually down 2.8% from last year. The cartoon would have been much more accurate had it referenced Albany and the State Legislature.
Now there’s a dysfunctional group.

Good one Matt. Let’s have a pay increase freeze for 5 years
for all politicians and see if they still want the job.

Sadly Matt I look at that and wonder about us the people who are civil servants -inside the building who do work those long hours dealing with the publics we serve and watch them get pay raises while we’ve been below COLA for over 5 years and hardly scraping by.
