    You mean in the streets of London, Paris or San Francisco? I didn’t realize the Olympic charter had control over such a broad jurisdiction.

    Matt, I believe he posted that comment to point out that the Olympics is supposed to be a neutral event that highlights the fact that one thing brings even the bitterest of enemies together: Sports. The reason political demonstrations are banned from Olympic revenues(Olympic Stadiums, not the streets of the cities you mentioned are so that politics don’t muck up the good old Olympic spirit. But, as you pointed out in a previous cartoon, sports always take backseat to politics and commerce…
