  1. Clay

Nice bull. I like the horns and the shading/scribbling. You and Nick are the scribble masters.

  2. Matt Davies

Thanks Clay! I worked pretty hard on this drawing…Do you have any idea how hard it is to draw a bull sitting on a stool?
No matter, I hear they give out some big awards for scribbling.

  3. Clay

I've never drawn Sitting Bull. HAHAHAHA!!!!
They don't give awards for scribbling….only if you invented it. D'uh!!!!!!!!

For the uninitiated…Clay (Jones) here is a cartoonist friend of mine, and he is referring to a surreal and short-lived web performance wherin an entirely anonymous cartooning colleague dubbed himself the "Bad Cartoonist" and briefly ripped the entire editorial cartooning industry to shreds, then disappeared. He said that I won the Pulitzer because the judges "thought that I invented scribbling."

  5. Jack

No matt, he said that you "tricked" the judges into thinking that you invented scribbling!

  6. Matt Davies

Now, if I could only trick the Nobel judges…
