Down-Hill

Hillary’s starting to remind me of another well-known politician who luxuriates in a sumptuously flexible relationship with reality. It’s just a matter of time before Hillary-for-Prez is standing giddily before a “mission accomplished” banner.
I know scads of people who thought she was doing a superb job as senator here in NY (and were inclined to support her in the Presidential Primary) who are now scratching their heads over the pandering, math-challenged half-wit character she has created for herself in order to “appeal to the common folk.” Sheesh, talk about elitist.

This cartoon really captures the sad state of the Clinton campaign. She touts her support for the common person (gas-tax relief), stresses how every state needs to count (can't disenfranchise Michigan and Florida voters) and that she must go on so that the voters in the final six primary contests can have their voices heard.
But the only way for this great believer in democracy to win is to undermine the very voters who she champions by going behind their backs to get the superdelegates to back her. I have to look away because it's so hideous.
P.S. You really have a skill in headline writing. Some of them are quite clever.
You draw nice curtains.
Thanks…Though I have to confess that I really don't like…No, let me rephrase that…I hate Wizard of Oz references. But within all tired cliches are RARE and elusive opportunities for creativity and originality as long as the image is used in a different or surprising way. That's my permission baseline for even thinking about using a cliche. I was okay with this one, but in retrospect it wasn't great.
What a wonderful way to state the obvious! Go Matt!
Do you even hate flying monkeys?
Clay…I'm sure there is a scenario that exists where one could use flying monkeys very effectively, but I can't think of it.
Crop dusting.
