But within all tired cliches are RARE and elusive opportunities for creativity and originality as long as the image is used in a different or surprising way. That's my permission baseline for even thinking about using a cliche. I was okay with this one, but in retrospect it wasn't great.</description>

		<description>This cartoon really captures the sad state of the Clinton campaign. She touts her support for the common person (gas-tax relief), stresses how every state needs to count (can't disenfranchise Michigan and Florida voters) and that she must go on so that the voters in the final six primary contests can have their voices heard.

But the only way for this great believer in democracy to win is to undermine the very voters who she champions by going behind their backs to get the superdelegates to back her. I have to look away because it's so hideous.

P.S. You really have a skill in headline writing. Some of them are quite clever.</description>
