"Selfless."

I was reading a Washington Post story yesterday which informs us that W gave up golf in solidarity with, and out of respect for military families during a time of war. Man, that AND a flag lapel pin?
I had no choice but to do this cartoon in solidarity with, and out of respect for military families.

John DeRosier of Albany's Times Union must have been sharing your muse. His entry today is a variation on the same theme.
And if he hadn't given up golf you would draw a cartoon of him playing and a casket or something equally stupid.
Beating a politically dead lame duck president does exactly what, to further the wellbeing of mankind?

Matt, you nailed it, as usual.
I bet warmongering is still cheaper than some greens fees.
