My god, did I just stick up for Bush? Oh no, just protocol. *phew* C'mon Bulldog, all stereotypes and prejudices are bad things, even if they may sometimes be based on experience (but often are not, politics generally excluded) - they cloud our judgement and lead us to making bad calls. Give the guy a chance and stop clutching your constitution closer (crossing over slightly with tomorrow's comments - ooh! Time warp...) This financial crisis we are facing is a real doosy. In some ways I feel sorry for Obama, all eyes are going to be on him. He has very tough shoes to fill (presidential, not dubya's). There is a lot of people who have put a lot of faith in him and I hope they keep their expectations real. I hope that he surronds himself with very smart people from both sides and actually listens to them, unlike his predecessor. Mr. Davies, as I said in an earlier post, I did an analaysis paper on your fool me once cartoon. Not that I think someone should be elected to send an image, but that's a pretty impressive and positive side effect.
