This one clearly has no sense of humor. You can't tell when someone is joking, or do you really just not get most things. Our own leaders are the ones who spread fear and dispare. The simplicity and symbolism of throwing a shoe at Bush is remarkable. After Bush recently refused (in the face of all of the heart-breaking evidence)to do the right thing and put polar bears on the endangered species list, all of my usual sympathy and compassion were gone. I am sorry to admit it but I laughed when I watched the video and thought that if a polar bear had been at the press conference, he would have done the same thing!
