Hey a cartoon that’s not about the economy! Instead we turn to the murderous reign of mexican drug cartels over both sides of the US border…armed by upstanding law-abiding US gun dealers. What a mess.

Wow the blame America first club . Are you the VP or is Hillary?
“It’s America fault that the drug trade is so big . America’s cities use to much drugs” Hillary said in Mexico .YEA LIKE HER BOSS’S HOME CITY ,AND EVEN THE ADMITTED COKE HEAD PRES HIMSELF .
Hey, marinadog, don’t talk about W that way. Leave the man in peace in his gated community in Dallas. He says he stopped all that when he reached the age of 40.
Actually this image IS about the economy. If we hadn’t spent inordinate-
even obscene-amounts of human and financial resources for the “War on Some Drugs” for the last 30 or 40 years, just imagine what we could have done with that.Legalize it!!!
Right on Cheech!! That would solve all the problems. Don’t fix the fence, take it down.
Sharon—you’re right. It IS an economic issue.
A report came out recently about the US being 1% of the world’s population but we have 25% of the world’s prisoners. Looks like that war on drugs is working great. All those dollars are helping out our prison-industrial complex and the cartels. The US intends to wipe out the flora of the SW deserts to reduce hiding places for traffickers—as Reagan wanted to Agent Orange all of Colombia. Every solution points to destruction and waste while the option of decriminalization won’t be taken seriously.
Wow, i actually agree with Lala’s on this. Should have
decriminalized weed along time ago. What ever happened to
the NORML parade?
@Lalas—The US actually has more like 5% of the world’s population. However, I agree—way too many people in prison. Although, it looks like there might be hope; Albany appears close to dismantling the “Rockefeller drug laws”.

The cartoon should feature a turnstile type gate that only allows illegal traffic into the US. It seems like that is the only type of border enforcement the Mexican government is interested in
An interesting view of the automotive industry. Where do you see the future of the industry, will it ever recover or will there be major casulties?
