Why do you keep drawing elephants, Matt? Health insurance is an optional service ., like retirement accounts…..unless you are a socialist? are you a socialist, Matt? In the USA people buy health insurance when they choose to. If you want everyone to have health insurance I suggest you call the Carl Marx website at: Carl Marx@communism.com

Its times like this I wish i was an unemployed Illegal Alien. They get everything..free ride for all. just have to know how to work the system. get in a bar fight sent to hospital patched up and walked out the door. not a dime spent.

I have aome “pain”, and 800 dollars later I am all better kinda.

    Amazing..

spaniel – something has to be done about the inequity of it all. the HMOs have ruined it. The original Insurance one got was far better than you get now. They dictate just what type of medicine and surgery you really need. what?!
Also, these insurances drive up how much a doctor charges.
I am not sure what will work but our current system is not good. at all.

  3. Your boss

Steve—how many unemployed illegal aliens do you think there are using our hospitals? Do you have any stats? Just hunches maybe? Sound bites from Bill O’Reilly?

People come here illegally to get jobs and make money. Money that they send back home to their families. Being unemployed here means their families are starving back home, which is why they came here in the first place. I’m not saying that there isn’t some usage by illegals, but I don’t think they’re the primary reason the system is so messed up. I would put them toward the bottom of the list.

Sorry… used that temporary name. The Your Boss post is mine.

  5. Steve C.

Lalas, so you advocate people coming here illegally and taking jobs that our children or we ourselves should be getting ? amazing.
When I have been to the hospital emergency room either for myself or another, I have witnessed these issues first hand.
I dont sound bite. O’reilly has an agenda, I don’t I just want to see fairness for all. I was born and raised here as were my parents. what do we get for it nothing… but pay the bill.
People come here legally for a better life. There’s no excuse for coming here illegally hiding out not learning the language taking advantage of the system and killing our residence.
Oh and the reason why Th U.S is in crisis. that money that gets sent out of this country is now lost from the system for ever. No taxes are paid, so we have to pay more for it..
    shall I go on?
And of course they arent the primary reason. We also have corporations offshoring the work which is just as bad.
We dont get the job but other’s do, yet the system expects us to pay for everything. how do you do that without a job. have you lost your job from it? I know several that have…
Please look around and see what is happening to your fellow Americans.

Unfortunately, that demographic pays 50% of the taxes, and creates 45% of all jobs (small business) Like the NY Legislature, “rich” gets progressively defined downward, to $250,000. We can all enjoy our government medical insurance while we’re looking for our jobs that have been taxed out of existence.

  7. BULLDOG

Are you crazy your boss. Emergency rooms are full of illegal aliens everyday. Every time i go to the hospital the
first thing they want to see is my insurance card or how i’m going to pay. These illegal free loaders just walk in
and get serviced and then out they go without a question or
a bill.Makes me sick. Who pays for their anchor babies when they have them in the hospital? Do you think they put them
on a payment plan? wake the hell up.
