Matt with Obama’s plan to legalize 20 million illegal aliens in this country there is very good reason to think
that they WILL qualify for FREE healthcare on the tax payer’s dollar. Obama states that illegals will not be able
to be a part of this healthcare program. Know why? because
he intends to give amnesty to these 20 million law breakers
making them legal and therefore they will be able to be a
part of this plan but of course will not pay and get it free. Please don’t tell me they will be required to pay for it because they won’t. Another thing about legalizing the illegals is that it will now end the illegal immigration debate because there will bo no such thing as an illegal alien anymore. Open borders and free loaders everywhere.

Being of the soft-palmed Euro elite, you naturally were not familiar with landscaping work (always performed by guest workers) and missed the fact that your Republican Elephant Man is hefting an axe… which could not have made the clean saw-cut evident on the “Public Option” tree trunk.

But CONCEPTS are much more important than REALITY, right?

(Until the tax bill comes due).

Brilliant depiction of the the problem! Wish I had thought of it. And to those who differ with Matt’s cartoon, I make you this offer: Want to try MY health care plan? It’s called the “Take Two Low Dose Aspirin And Pray Like Hell” Plan. I’d be more than happy to let ‘em rascally illegals have health care with me, especially if it meant corraling drug-resistant TB… Or do you think you’re magically immune because you’re a Proud Murkin? (I bet being dreadfully sick is really, really bad for the tax base, too.)

Matt old boy & friend two little questions
1.Where in the US constitution (I know Barry hates it) does the federal government get the authority to run health care????
2.Where dose the US constitution (see above) give the authority to cover law breakers, rapist, Drunks who committed ID fraud and Tax fraud And are ILLEGAL

I have a great ID why don’t you sponsor health care for the Illegal’s who do you lawn or the journal Rags lawn.And Have the Rag pay for all Illegals in 10 miles of the rag>
You could let them all live upstairs at the unused unneeded space.

It is said that brevity is the soul of wit. Rather than go into a long diatribe on Obama’s torture of the English language, how if you legalize illegals, than illegals won’t get health care, we need to keep it brief. We need to find a short, precise description of what Obama is doing.
Can anyone think of an accurate, two word phrase that says the President is not telling the truth?
If only there was a not-so-average Joe out there who could stand up and call out the president’s prevarication in just two words. Yup that’s what we need.

I haven’t seen anything as vicious or insulting as I have seen directed at the former president.

Indeed, we should deny health care to illegals—especially if they have infectious hepatitis, or H1N1 flu, or MRSA, or TB, or anthrax. And, they should be denied sick days from work or school, too. Yeah, that will teach them a lesson!

And, and, and… Anyone showing up in an emergency room without a valid passport proving US citizenship should be thrown right back out the door. Of course, no problem here, as I’m sure that Iceman and Marina/Bull dogs always have their passports on them. (Drivers licenses don’t count, since they are not issued by the US Gov’t.) Maybe we’ll allow for green cards, too… (then again…).

Actually, I’d venture to guess that conservatives hate the Constitution more than liberals. But, I digress. I submit that it’s in the Preamble:

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, [...] promote the general Welfare [...] do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Why would Obama push for granting amnesty to illegals? That’s political suicide.

Yet again, I’m amused (perversely) by people who claim they’re conservatives. Truth is, these mock conservatives are bigoted nativists, and people who have no real understanding how a democratic republic (small d, small r) is supposed to work. If they think not having any health care is somehow my choice or preference, would these brave souls care to trade places with me? (Want to bet lunch?) Do they somehow believe that swine flu or tuberculosis really cares if one is a citizen or not? Have they ever bothered to read any part of our Constitution, which begins with “We, the people…”? (That would suggest that we, the people are the government! I never realized I was so evil.)

So, for these teabaggers, I have one word: ACHOOO!!! Gosh, I’m sorry. Hope I’m not contagious.

where does the consitution say it? As I always said. This has become Rome. and we do as rome says. also we have jedi’s on the council and these aren’t the laws and rights we had.. ever.. (wave of a hand). Just like heir bloomberg getting to drop term limits.

As far as the illegals, i rather they be sent home or at least learn the language so you can hide better. So just how does an illegal alien get a car and drive? with no insurance.. violate vehicle laws and get out on bail to disappear. the rest of us would be raked over the coals.

So, let me get this right, because someone may have a contagious disease it’s okay for them to brake the law and still money from us? Is that what I’m hearing? Don’t get me wrong, I am not a conservative. I consider myself a centrist. I am all for humanity but I have to say that if I want to give my money to help someone out that should still be MY option, not the govt or anyone elses. I will say that I beleive that we need to either make them legal and have to follow the same rules and laws that we do or send them Back. It’s wrong when they have more rights than citizens of this country do. If I don’t pay my taxes I go to jail. If I don’t have health insurance I don’t get health care. If I don’t have the money to get a higher education I either don’t get one or have to get loans to pay for it. There isn’t a college out there that will say you are a legal citizen so you can come better yourself for free, there are that will say you are illegal so you can better yourself for free. Just make them follow the same rules or send them away.
I do agree with what I take this cartoon to say. My mom always told me when I was growing up, “Don’t cut your nose off to spite your face”.

No one is saying that illegal aliens won’t receive a bill for their services. That’s what we’d expect. Any law breaking in this respect would occur if they didn’t reimburse the government for any treatment they received.

And, if you think illegal aliens are lying and cheating their way to free health care services now, then the only people you’re keeping health care services from are uninsured American citizens.
