Andrew Cuomo sounds an awful lot like Eliot Spitzer in the halcyon days when he was the gubernatorial frontrunner. You’ll forgive New Yorkers their skepticism. The problem is rarely the Governor, rather a legislature and legislative culture that needs to be fired from a cannon.
As some of you may know, I also draw some cartoons for a newspaper chain in Connecticut which – as of this writing – they don’t put on the web. Therefore I thought I’d share them here when they are relevant to my non-CT readers. The color is for the Sunday opinion section front. I’d be curious to get your opinion on color. Do you prefer it? Does it change the tenor of a cartoon? Does it make no appreciable difference? Should I draw more of my work in color? I currently draw in black and white because I find it to be stark and powerful in delivering a point. And also because my editorial page is, um, printed in black and white…
