Today’s cartoon was created to go with a special series – dealing with the inordinate costs associated with overly-profligate NY State lawmakers’ legislative offices – that our Albany bureau put together, called The Platinum Legislature. As an aside, we put out a series called the Gold Plated Legislature 25 years ago – dealing with the inordinate costs associated with overly-profligate NY State lawmakers’ legislative offices.

They all must go I do not care if they are Republican or Demorats anyone in office in the State must be turned out of office and then the rules of how they govern must be changed .. no more 3 men who determin what happans to the state,
the First rule change is that if they do not get a real budget on time THE MEMBERS OF THE SENATE AND ASSEMBLY AND THEIR STAFFF DO NOT GET PAID..FIRE THE STAFF IF YOU MUST LEGALY. BUT THERE WILL BE NO BACK PAY WHEN THEY GET A BUDGET.
What happens to people when they dont d their job in the workforce?
They get fired.
