[...] Campaign finance: Cartoon Matt Davies comments on the creation of 501©(4) political-action committees and the influence of big donors in this election cycle. [...]
Yeah, Yeah, Americans are too stupid evaluate an ad on its own merits; its Ok for Matt’s Neighbors in Westport like venture capitalist DNC bundling Oak Investment Partners to bankroll the Huffington Post (and manage pension plan money at the same time)- after all how would they promote green technology to the benefit of their technology portfolio. For Matt, its only when liberals don’t get all the money that he screams foul.
We are still waiting for Barry and his thugs to release the donor list from 2008, you remember, open and honest government and reporting and government funding for his election , until he realized how much he could steal on his own……
But then you have no problem with that right Matt???
Well – Huff Post isn’t a political ad (I know, I know that’s a debatable one..) and it seems you know exactly who is bankrolling it, so where’s the issue? Seems pretty transparent to me.
Political ads are idiotic, period. When people pour more money into more idiotic ads and you don’t know who it is that’s paying for them, motives are inherently suspect. Politicians on either side of fences should not be secretly backed financially by anyone. The invisible hand of economics shouldn’t have a role in politics. And the content of political ads is so ludicrous that the idea we have to see more of it, not less, is also dismaying.
Who owns YOU, Boatcat?
JB(I am not Jack) Pierce, First how is Ca> did you find a job?
No one owns me remember a REPUBLICAN president freed the slaves…..
Matt some would say this Paper ???? is a Political ad bought and paid for by the DNC and Georeg Soros that international criminal ,you remember the rich guy who caused so much harm in your homeland…..
Boatcat,
Lincoln would be a Democrat by today’s standards. The parties switched in the early to mid 1900’s.
Liberal traveler:
Trying to change history as you will, I could Print here the road blocks Demorats have placed on the civil rights paths and what steps republicans have done… tell me if you would like them,,
