[...] Virginia Thomas: Cartoon Matt Davies comments on the culture wars of the 1990s through the prism of Virginia Thomas, wife of Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court Clarence Thomas, who asked Anita Hill for an apology. [...]
Yup. There it is. It’s so damn typical, predictable, that this self-righteous “Family Values” crowd to blame the victim. Clarence Thomas got his sorry, sycophantic rump rubberstamped as the late Thurgood Marshall’s successor only because of an expedient Republican majority in the U.S. Senate in 1991. Subsequent independent investigations into Prof. Anita Hill’s allegations prove to be frightfully TRUE; in fact, as Reagan’s EEOC director, Mr. Marshall engaged in sexual harassment on others as much as he did Ms. Hill.
So, Boatcat, who put the pubic hair on YOUR Coke can, huh, sweetie?
And not reading correctly. Thurgood never did any of that crap. Mr. Thomas is hardly a fitting successor (never mind he’s a freaking monolith during Supremes sessions, NEVER commenting on the testimony…!)

(Okay, you have to lay off the “sharpened pencil attack” for a while. (See October 3.))

I think you mean Mr THOMAS, John, but you’re right.
Yup. Meant “Mister” (Mr.). Ol’ Fumble-Fingers, making his umpteenth typo this hour…
